We've designed several Web-based learning activities that you can use along with, or instead of, the physical probability kits that you get if you're doing the Carnival Tycoon project in an in-person classroom. They use the excellent CODAP data analysis program from the Concord Consortium.
You will need a modern Web browser, with Javascript enabled, to do these activities. The one built into Chromebooks should work fine, as should recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Apple Safari.
RANDOM.ORG has some nice tools to generate random numbers, using real random noise, instead of the fake random number generator built in to your Web browser that the CODAP activities need to use.
